Hélène Jacqz, a double graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Parsons School of Art in New York, has been a permanent artist of the gallery since her first presentation in 2017.
The Mondapart gallery is very pleased to offer a solo show of recent works by the artist in painting, paper and engraving for the opening of the season.
Everything in Hélène Jacqz's abstract paintings resonates; the artist sets the "tempo," and the viewer immediately connects with the work. The vibrant colors act as an accelerator of emotion; her painting is taut and powerful.
Like the artist herself, the canvas presents the fruit of reflection and action, driven by technical processes akin to alchemy. Hélène Jacqz offers us, "unwittingly," nature on canvas and its five elements in motion; her free spirit expresses itself on both small and large formats.
Hélène Jacqz works in series; she also works on commission and offers her work in the form of prints.
His stay in Colmar at Rémi Bucciali’s gave rise to an engraving published in a limited number of copies.
The artist's meeting with Matthieu Jacquillat, director of the company Arts Affaires, resulted in the creation of lithographs specifically designed for turnkey corporate exhibitions.
